Shenzhen, China – AUO Corporation and faytech Tech. Co., Ltd. announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to deepen their long-term business partnership centered on transparent Micro-LED offerings. The MOU, signed Friday, August 7, 2026, at AUO Corporate Headquarters in Hsinchu, formalizes cooperation across product development, integration, manufacturing, and go-to-market activities to accelerate deployment of transparent Micro-LED displays in commercial and industrial applications.
Partnership Focus: Transparent Micro-LED Displays
Under the agreement, AUO and faytech will collaborate on joint development projects that leverage AUO’s leading Micro-LED display technologies and faytech’s global expertise in designing, manufacturing and servicing touch monitors, touch PCs and optical bonding. The partnership aims to deliver turn-key transparent display solutions that combine high optical performance with robust touch, bonding and system integration tailored for retail, transportation, hospitality, smart buildings and other high-traffic environments.
The MOU was signed by Arne Weber, Managing Founder of faytech, and Dr. Wei-Lung Liau, Chief Technology Officer at AUO Corporation.
