faytech AG, like Pyramid Computer GmbH a wholly owned subsidiary of Pyramid AG (stock exchange symbol: M3BK, ISIN: DE000A254W52), and Avionic Design GmbH, which belongs to Lufthansa Technik AG, intend to cooperate further on display solutions for aviation.
The collaboration will involve the joint development of high-tech (touch) display solutions for digitalized aircraft cabins. The completion of the first project opens up an entry opportunity into the globally growing aviation market for Pyramid AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of IT solutions for automation and digitization for the retail, financial and industrial sectors.
In advance, the touchscreens developed and produced by faytech passed the temperature tests as part of the product qualification. The displays, which were bonded optically transparent by faytech in a special process, not only met the technical requirements without any problems, but in particular withstood extreme conditions such as freezing cold (-55 °C) and high heat (+85 °C).
The first flight with jointly developed displays is already planned for 2024.
